My name is Lisa Johns. I am a 34-year old stay-at-home mom. I have a six-year old daughter; her name’s Julianna. My hubby works as an IT consultant, and we’ve been married for eight years now. I used to work as a financial analyst, but I wanted to be a full-time wife, so I quit my job.

Despite being at home 24/7, preparing my daughter’s lunch, bringing her to the bus stop, waiting for her to come home and tutor her with her lessons, I make sure that I have other interesting things to do to keep me busy. Otherwise, I’d feel so unproductive and useless.

Aside from watching talk shows like Oprah and The Tyra Banks Show, and reality shows like The Bachelor, Survivor and America’s Next Top Model, my guilty pleasure is the big reveal time of any makeover shows, be it a look and fashion makeover or home makeover. I’m always in awe, as if I were in their shoes.

I’ve other interests than television shows. I also like to bake once in a while. I never enrolled in a baking class. I’d just get recipes from the Internet and watch YouTube most of the time. I also like making home arts and decors with my daughter. I never run out of DIY or do-it-yourself projects. Right now, I’ve been busy with DIY school supplies containers for my hubby’s home office.

It takes little to please me. The littlest things have the ability to grab my attention, like quilting, designing culottes and studying climate change and 800 vanity number.

This blog’s gonna be about my life as a stay-home mom and wife. I’ll also share with you the projects that keep me entertained at home.
